My Beard Cream/Balm has developed little white dots, what do I do?"Nothing, use it as always! This is perfectly normal and there is nothing wrong with your product; the white dots will melt and smooth in your hands when you use it. The white dots are formed by the Shea Butter in the mixture attracting to itself; you'll see this more often with the Cream because of the higher Shea Butter content in this product. You will also see this more in cooler temperatures; so if you have A/C in your home, or you live in an Igloo, you'll have more white dots to contend with.

What is the difference between Beard Balm and Beard Cream/Butter?In the short, both will keep your beard healthy by moisturizing the skin and conditioning the hair. Cream/Butter is a deep conditioner that highly moisturizes and nourishes the skin and hair. Formulated for beards that have extremely dry, flaky skin at their base, and/or dry, brittle hair. Guys with oily skin on their face should avoid this product as there is a chance it may clog pores and lead to breakouts. The product is of a semi-solid consistency and melts almost instantly in the hands allowing you to really work it into the hairs and skin. Balm has a high wax content in it. This product will help with dry skin, and dry/brittle hair, but will also allow you to shape and style your beard, or smoth out the fly-aways and/or frizzies. Our Balm is a little softer than most allowing ease of use without feeling heavy and/or sticky in the beard, yet still giving you all the hold and control you need for the long day ahead.
